MANUFACTURING ERRORS

If you received your item damaged due to manufacturing errors, we will repair or replace the item at our cost.  See our Warranty for more information, and see also the section below titled "When an item was returned because it was received damaged."

 

ORDER CHANGES

Contact Designs by Bree inc. at 251-344-1008 AS SOON AS POSSIBLE if you need to change your order.  The status of your order in the fulfillment process will determine if we can make a change without a restocking fee.  Restocking fees for changed orders may be as high as 50% of the price of the order.

 

30 DAY RETURN POLICY

If you would like to return an item that is in "As-New" condition you may return the product at your expense within 30 days of receipt (based on the date the item was delivered).  Call us at 251-344-1008 if you have any questions about your item or about how to ship it back to us.

"As-New" Condition is an item that

·        has not been installed or modified or wires cut

·        is in the original unmarked packaging, box and packing material

·        includes all the parts and product & installation guides that were shipped with it

 

We understand that the lighting or decor you purchased may not ultimately be what you had in mind and we want to make sure you are happy with the final product.  Call us at 251-344-1008 if you would like to exchange the lighting fixture, and we will help you find a replacement with reduced shipping and restocking costs.

 

YOUR RETURN CREDIT

Upon receipt of the returned item, the item will be inspected for "as new" condition and once confirmed we will process your credit.  We work hard to make this go as quick as possible and the process usually takes 10 business days or less.

Typically, you will be refunded via the same method in which the item was purchased.

Please do not request a charge back from your credit card company during the return process as this will extend the time it takes to credit you for your return.   If a charge back has been submitted, we will not be able to credit you for your return until the charge back mediation process has been completed. A charge back mediation process can take up to 180 days. In certain cases, initiating a charge back before the return process is complete can void your ability to receive any credit at all.

WHEN THE ITEM RETURNED IS NOT IN "AS NEW" CONDITION

If the item is determined to not be in "As-New" condition,  we reserve the right to charge a restocking fee of up to 50% of the price of the item.  with the exception of damaged deliveries. 

WHEN AN ITEM WAS RETURNED BECAUSE IT WAS RECEIVED DAMAGED

If an item was determined to have arrived damaged, we will replace the item.  See our Warranty page to learn more.

If you receive a lighting fixture that is damaged, it must be reported within 5 days of receipt.  See more about how to document an item that arrived damaged in the "Delivery Inspection and Damaged Products" section of our Shipping Information page.

 

LARGE QUANTITY PURCHASES

When ordering multiples of the same item, we strongly suggest ordering a single sample for evaluation before you place the full order.  Returns of any item in quantities of 3 or more units will be automatically subject to 50% restocking fees.
